Use solutionary thinking to empower students to create positive change in their communities. Attendees will play the role of students as they design and implement their own small scale environmental policies. Through data collection, analysis, and reflection, students advocate for change and learn how small policies can “go large.”
Learn how to transform your students into epidemiologists whose objective is to study the impact of global warming on the proliferation of Vibrio vulnificus in unchartered waters. Participants will perform an ELISA simulating the detection of V vulnificus over time and draw correlations with global temperatures with their results.
